TextSpan

Struct TextSpan

Source
pub struct TextSpan { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

One caller-authored piece of text carrying one complete style.

A span is an input segment, not a layout boundary. StyledText joins all spans before it decides grapheme, wrapping, or clipping boundaries.

Implementations§

Source§

impl TextSpan

Source

pub fn new(text: impl Into<String>, style: TextStyle) -> Self

Creates one caller-authored segment.

Source

pub fn text(&self) -> &str

Returns this segment’s source text.

Source

pub const fn style(&self) -> &TextStyle

Returns the complete style assigned to this segment.

impl From<&str> for TextSpan

Source§

fn from(text: &str) -> Self

impl From<String> for TextSpan

Source§

fn from(text: String) -> Self

Converts to this type from the input type.
Source§

impl PartialEq for TextSpan

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &TextSpan) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
